THE SMALL GROCERY STORE

In 1932 at the age of 25, José Moreira buys a small Grocery store in Matosinhos whose specialty was simply "roasting and selling" coffee from Angola. It was therefore known as "Casa do Café de Angola" (House of Angolan Coffee), later abbreviated to "Casa Angola".

José Moreira and his small grocer's shop of "roasting and selling coffee from Angola" has thus become icon of progress in constant renewal and growth, to an extent that could hardly have been imagined by its founder.

THE MASTERY OF ELVIRA OLIVERIA

Over the years, Elvira Oliveira, his wife, devoted herself to the Art of Coffee, creating and refining over 80 blends, from the most popular mixtures based in chicory and barley to the most sophisticated and prestigious blends of pure coffee, including well-known origins as São Tomé, Brazil, Angola, East Timor, Colombia or Egypt.

Lote Particular (Private Blend)

Among the various Blends of pure coffee created by Elvira Oliveira, "Lote Particular" was one of the most popular in the 50's, 60's and 70's of the last century, especially among the fishing community of Matosinhos, "Lote Particular" is a strong coffee, cuddling our fishermen in the harsh and cold toil night.

This Blend was so popular at that time, that she often received private orders from Spain, France, Germany and Luxembourg.

60 Years after its creation, we bring you the mastery of Elvira Oliveira: her private blend; a unique combination of coffee beans from Africa Robusta and South American Arabica varieties. A full-bodied Coffee, in an unmistakable Portuguese style.

Chose your preferred blend of coffee and choose the appropriate grinding to your machine (Expresso or Moka).

7g/8g of coffee per cup, according to taste. Use plain mineral water.

Never allow the coffee to boil. Heat always the cup (porcelaine cup is recommended).

Serve at once. Store the package in the refrigerator.
